One of the benefits of being a member of The Artisan Food Trail is the access to our Bookkeeping partners, The Bookkeeping Department
As with any service, you need to know that you are talking to people that want to understand your business and your specific needs. This is just one of the reasons that The Artisan Food Trail is delighted to have Alistair and Lynne Moffat and the team at The Bookkeeping Department working with us.
The Bookkeeping Department provide a friendly and personal service and enjoy working closely with business owners to help them keep on top of the finances in their business.
Some business owners work long hours or just don’t have the time to do their book-keeping themselves as they need and want to put their time into other parts of their business. Many businesses also prefer the flexibility and to save money by outsourcing their bookkeeping rather than having a paid employee do this for them.
The Bookkeeping Department provide a regular service which includes;
- Processing all financial transactions
- VAT returns
- Bank reconciliation
- Regular debtors, creditors and profit and loss reports to help you run your business
- Liaison with your accountant at year end
Fees are tailored to your business and are based on the volume of bookkeeping which is done for you.
For all Artisan Food Trail members, The Bookkeeping Department will provide a Free 1 Hour Bookkeeping Review and Consultation. This is to give you peace of mind that you are doing everything you need to do and will help you assess the effectiveness of your current book-keeping arrangements. You receive a set of written recommendations or options for how you may be able to do your bookkeeping more effectively in the future.
