After ten years of development and research, Alan Coxon<\/strong><\/a> has created a condiment that is like no other.<\/p>\n

The closest resemblance could be to balsamic vinegar, but Ale-Gar exceeds all expectations with its exceptional taste and versatility in the kitchen.<\/p>\n

Alan Coxon\u2019s recipe uses chocolate stout malt which is then fermented over oak to bring out the full flavour and smoothness. It is then stored and allowed to mature to round off the flavour. \n<\/strong>We are pleased to give this award to Alan Coxon for his Ale-Gar[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column_inner][\/et_pb_row_inner][et_pb_row_inner admin_label=”Row” _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”0px|||” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column_inner saved_specialty_column_type=”3_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ background_position=”top_left” custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.16″ text_font_size=”15″ border_style=”solid” global_colors_info=”{}”]Ale-Gar has been used extensively in the AFT Kitchen, in everything from oriental stir-fries to meat marinades, all to great effect. Our favourite use though, was to make a reduction and drizzle this over slices of succulent roast duck. It has become almost difficult to resist the temptation to splash it on everything, leaving the soy and Worcester sauce to languish on the shelf.
