A small, family-run vineyard producing both still and sparkling wines, as well as cider.
We are a small, family-run vineyard, orchard and farm in Honiton, East Devon. We produce both sparkling and still wines exclusively from grapes grown on our vineyard, leading to a unique and characteristic flavour that varies between vintages according to the climactic conditions. Our sparkling wine is produced using the ‘traditional method’, and has sat on its lees for three or more years to enhance the flavour.
We also produce still, bottle-conditioned cider from an orchard on our site. Finally, we also grow a wide variety of ‘climate change’ foods; plants that are more usually associated with warmer parts of the world, but which are becoming increasingly viable to grow in the UK. Examples include Asian pears, almonds, pecans, quince, medlars, persimmons, Japanese plums, to name but a few.
We are in the process of establishing visitor facilities on site, including a shop and café from where we will run vineyard tours and wine tasting sessions. Keep an eye on our website or our social media feeds for updates on this.
